Talent Pool Privacy Notice
Version 1.2 · Effective 2 November 2026
This notice is for applicants who choose to join Rolio’s talent pool. It explains that separate choice, rather than signing up to use Rolio for hiring.
Who is responsible?
Rolio is operated by COFOUNDERIE TECHNOLOGY FZCO, Trade License 41226, Office 301, A2 Building, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this notice, “Rolio,” “we” and “us” refer to that company, which is the controller for talent-pool data.
The employer remains responsible for your original job application under its own privacy notice. Joining or leaving our talent pool does not change that application.
Joining and using the talent pool
In short: When you apply, you can tick an optional box to join the Rolio talent pool. Nothing happens unless you tick it, you can leave at any time, and Rolio — not the employer — is responsible for this data.
When you submit a job application through a Rolio-powered job board, you can optionally tick a checkbox to join the Rolio talent pool. The checkbox is always unticked; whether you tick it has no effect on your application. For talent-pool data, Rolio is the controller, and the legal basis is your consent.
The talent pool is not active yet. Ticking the box on an application form records your consent and the exact wording you saw; nothing else happens until the pool opens. Before we ever contact you about other jobs, we will email you first, with a way to leave.
Once it opens, the talent pool will be for Rolio’s own sourcing and recruiting service to contact opted-in candidates about relevant opportunities. It will not be a public candidate directory, and it will never include an employer’s private notes, comments or internal discussions. Before sharing a profile with a prospective employer, we will explain that sharing and obtain the permission required for it.
You can request access, correction or deletion of your talent-pool entry, or withdraw your consent, by contacting support@getrolio.com. Withdrawal stops future talent-pool use; it does not automatically delete the original application held for the employer, which has its own responsibilities and retention rules. Candidates a company adds or imports itself are never enrolled; only your own tick on the application form can join you. We keep your talent-pool consent until you withdraw it; there is no fixed expiry. We may retain a limited consent or withdrawal record where necessary to demonstrate compliance and respect your choice.
Providers and protection of your data
We use service providers to host and operate Rolio. Our Privacy Policy, section 5, identifies those providers and explains AI-assisted CV processing and international transfers. Section 1.3 describes our security measures. These provisions also apply to talent-pool data where those services are used.
Your rights and how to leave
Contact support@getrolio.com to leave the talent pool or request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information. Depending on applicable law, you may also request restriction or portability, object to processing, and complain to a data protection authority. We may verify your identity before acting. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
See section 7 of our Privacy Policy for the conditions and response times for these rights, and section 6.2 for limited retention required for legal obligations, security, claims or restricted backups.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our practices change and provide additional notice of material changes. We will ask for new consent where required; changing this notice does not expand what you previously agreed to.
